Aviation news on the 16th of August

Here is you final round-up of aviation news for this week. As often on Friday, it is a bit lighter than usual.

First of all, EL AL Israel Airlines Finalizes Order for up to 31 Boeing 737 MAX Jets, continuing with fleet renewal and extension, and this is an interesting move considering how many airlines are cutting their flights to Tel Aviv at the moment, but there is likely longer term thinking behind it.

In Europe, Air Serbia to Resume Nice Service on 19 September and Eurowings published their own usual news digest on Friday, known as the Eurowings Newscloud Ticker – 16 August 2024, thanks guys for making our own job earlier 😉

In other news, Aeroflot Technics has opened a linear service station at Novosibirsk airport, where they will serve all types of aircraft, including Boeings, which is interesting in the general situation in Russia.
